Position Overview:
As a Tech Lead / Principal engineer at Covent IT, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and designing, scalable applications. You will manage the back-end team, mentor developers, take part in the Pre-sale phase, and contribute to the overall success of our projects within your technical stack.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in software development, and 2+ as the technical leader

  • 2+ years of software development experience with secondary languages, such as Node.js, Golang, Python or .Net

  • Analytical skills and ability to turn a concept into a working solution.

  • Experience in AI / ML / IoT engineering area is a big advantage for an applicant

  • Skillful in code reviews, architectural decisions, and mentoring team members to enhance overall productivity.

  • Proficient in guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from concept to deployment



Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable web/mobile/IoT applications.

  • Building solutions’ architecture according to the requirements

  • Participation in pre-sale and Discovery phases to cover technical aspects and provide estimates

  • Manage the development team to define and implement innovative solutions.

  • Mentor and guide developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Assist in designing job profiles for software engineers in the known technical stack

  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.

  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues as they arise, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
