Description
As a DevOps Engineer at Riskified’s DevOps team, you'll be responsible for:


  1. Manage and optimize Observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Opentelemetry, and others to ensure effective monitoring of system performance and health.

  2. Oversee high-scale cloud infrastructure and services, focusing on optimizing performance, stability, cost-efficiency, and reliability.

  3. Mentor and inspire DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

  4. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align DevOps activities with business objectives and project requirements.

  5. Evaluate, recommend, and implement best practices for monitoring systems and processes, ensuring efficient and effective observability across the organization.




Requirements


  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a DevOps engineer in a professional setting.

  2. Proficiency with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Opentelemetry.

  3. Strong expertise in Kubernetes (K8S) orchestration and management.

  4. Extensive experience in managing large-scale operations on cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, including familiarity with services like AWS Athena and fundamental AWS services.

  5. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues effectively.

  6. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Java, or Go for automation and infrastructure management tasks.

  7. Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with best practices and tools like CircleCI and ArgoCD.
