About the Role

We are looking for a  Automation QA Engineer who is passionate about ensuring the quality of software products through testing and automation. As part of our QA team, you will work closely with developers and stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, improve testing strategies, and contribute to delivering reliable, high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications
- Tools & Frameworks: Strong understanding of Playwright or Cypress frameworks (personal, academic, private, or professional projects are considered).
- Programming: Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript (preferred).

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain UI and API automated tests using Playwright with TypeScript.
- Execute and document manual and automated tests for software releases.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and the QA team to:
- Write clear test specifications.
- Build comprehensive test cases to ensure robust product functionality.
- Analyze and reproduce bugs for investigation.
- Identify areas for automation improvement and contribute to the automation testing roadmap.
- Document test results, defect reports, logs, and performance metrics.
- Validate defect fixes and ensure software meets expected requirements.

Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of automation tools (Playwright, Cypress).
- Experience with any of the following programming languages: JavaScript / TypeScript (preferred).
- Experience with API testing.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
