PHP Developer (contract)

About the Role:

We are looking for a Middle+ / Senior PHP Developer to join our outsourcing delivery team. You will work on international client projects, building scalable web applications, APIs, and backend services. The role requires strong technical expertise, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, client-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems using PHP.


• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services.


• Work with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or similar).


• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and project managers.


• Participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical discussions.


• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.


• Integrate with third-party APIs and services.


• Participate in estimation, planning, and delivery processes.


• Communicate directly with clients when needed.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial experience with PHP.


• Strong knowledge of PHP 7/8, OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.


• Experience with Laravel / Symfony or similar modern frameworks.


• Solid understanding of REST API design and integration.


• Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL and query optimization.


• Good understanding of Git, CI/CD, and deployment workflows.


• Experience working with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) — nice to have.


• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and in distributed teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue).


• Experience in high-load systems and performance optimization.


• Background in e-commerce, fintech, SaaS, or marketplace projects.
